Your questions answered

Unsure if it will work for you? Seems too good to be true? We get it!

Sometimes, getting started is the hardest part. Find out what it costs, how long it takes, and what to expect.

We’re here to help you be in control of your health while traveling the world.

All Doctorsa physicians are fluent in English, and each one is carefully verified for language proficiency to ensure seamless communication.

Complete the intake form and confirm your request via phone, WhatsApp or text message.

Within minutes, you will start receiving appointment offers from independent doctors, depending on availability. You can review the offers you receive, choose the one you prefer, and complete the online payment.

Video visits take place directly in your browser; no app download is required. To join the visit, simply click the secure link you receive.

If the doctor determines that a prescription is clinically appropriate, it will be issued by the doctor and typically sent to you by email shortly after the consultation. You may show it digitally or print it to purchase medication at the pharmacy of your choice, subject to local regulations.

Prescriptions are issued solely at the doctor’s professional discretion and only when medically appropriate.

The overall pricing will vary depending on the providers. Each of them competes on every request, bidding a fair price for your specific need. The average cost is 25 Euros for an online doctor visit. In-person appointments, specialists, and lab-work depend on the city. Send a request to find out, there’s no obligation to book and you get to choose your provider.
The visit does not include the cost of medications. For example, in Europe, the cost of an antibiotic treatment ranges from 5 to 15 euros approximately.

Yes, whenever you submit your request it is instantly received by the doctors active at that time. Whether it’s late at night, on a Sunday morning, or on New Year’s Eve, there’s always someone on the other side who’s ready to see you. When you receive an option for an appointment, there’s a person behind it (a doctor) who’s read your request and is willing to assist you.

Yes, antibiotics can be prescribed through a video consultation with a licensed physician. As with any medication, a prescription is only issued when the doctor deems it clinically appropriate. Antibiotics are not available over the counter, and pharmacies do not have doctors on site. To purchase them, you’ll need a valid prescription to present at the pharmacy. The cost of commonly prescribed antibiotics usually ranges from 5 to 15 euros.

No, Doctorsa is not an emergency-response or emergency-monitoring service and any person who is aware of or believes that a person may be at risk of injury or death or who may harm themselves or another person should dial “112” or an appropriate emergency responder. Doctorsa is under no obligation to monitor or respond to communications made to this site.

No, Doctorsa providers are unable to prescribe controlled substances through online consultations. If you need treatment with a medication in this category, an in-person visit will be required.

You can message your physician with follow-up questions at no additional cost for up to 7 days after the video visit.

The platform complies with international data protection regulations, including GDPR. When you submit a request on Doctorsa, the content of the request is shared with all available doctors while keeping your data anonymized until you select a provider. Once you’ve chosen a doctor and booked with them, your provided information and contact details will only be shared with them. Doctorsa will never sell your personal information.

Yes, you can use insurance to pay for your visit. During the checkout process, you’ll be asked to provide your insurance carrier information along with your payment details. The consultation cost will be temporarily withheld until our team verifies your coverage. If your insurance is confirmed, the reserved amount will be released. However, if we’re unable to confirm your coverage or if your insurance doesn’t cover the payment, the reserved amount will be charged, and you’ll receive an invoice to claim a refund directly.

That said, our fees are designed to be so affordable that insurance may not be necessary.
